Matanot la'Evyonim
It is the obligation (Mitzvah) for everyone to give 2 gifts (Matanot) to 2 needy people (la'Evyonim) to enable them to celebrate Purim (Seudat Purim) with dignity, set this year at $36 (₪126 / €32) per person = 2 “gifts” for 2 needy people corresponding to the minimum price of “2 meals”
Zecher Le'Machatzit HaShekel
In memory of the half shekel given at the time of the Temple (Beit Hamikdash), set this year at $8 (₪28 / €7) per person
A total of $44 (₪154 / €39) per person
